  Hi, my name is Cappy. I’m a Black-capped Chickadee, and I guess you can figure out why my friends gave me the nickname Cappy! I used to build my nest in an old, dead tree each spring, but some kind people put up a really nice wooden house on a tree in their backyard for me. It gives me extra protection for me and my babies, especially when it storms. This nice family also serves up some great food! I like to hide it and then go back later when I want a snack.
