What a clever feeder, and a great way to feed a varied backyard flock! My sparrows and finches would love it.

I am not sure what happened. I will repost just in case. Now that we are changing seasons, I have noticed increased activity at my feeding station. This would be great for all the little sweeties stopping by.

I fear that the hummingbirds have left Maine and are going south for the winter. There has been no activity at the feder for 2 days. I always feel sad when this occurs although I look forward to feeding the birds in the winter and feel especially blessed when we get a cardinal at the feeder.

Wow, this looks like a wonderful feeder. We have made our backyard a bird sanctuary and this would fit in really well!

Well, the WAR is on at the Hummingbird feeders! We have one male Ruby Throated Hummer that we call the GUARD MASTER! He will claim the feeders and not let any other hummers near them if he can. We have a home security system in our home and a sign is posted in our back yard and it just happens to be under one of the feeders. Yesterday, the “Guard Master” took up post guarding the feeders on the security post sign! Priceless!! I wish I could have taken a picture of him on guard.
